2km from Nanga Damai there are three different beaches that are within reach of Nanga Damai. One is opposite the Cultural Village, the other is by the golf course and the last one is at Camp Permai. The beach at Camp Permai offers kayaks which can be rented by the

Damai Central

Damai Central is located 2KM from our home and is located just opposite the Cultural Village. It has a food court serving typical Malaysian stall food such as; noodles, roti canal, curries and rice dishes. There are also some small shops, a bar, and access to Damai beach.

Buntal Village

The village of Buntal is aprox 10km from Nanga Damai by car and offers a selection of seafood restaurants. If you would like to eat here and do not have your own transport, we are happy to give you a lift.

Wetlands Cruise

We are happy to book you on this magnificent sunset cruise. Cruise along the river and see traditional village houses and wildlife. Most days it is possible to see irrawaddy dolphin’s, proboscis monkey, fire flies and perhaps a crocodile!

Damai Golf Course

1,5km from Nanga Damai Pay and play on this magnificent 18 hole golf course. If you don’t have your own equipment it is possible to hire it from the club.
